Lindsey Brown Ma, Ba(Hons) has over 15 years experience in the retail side of the lingerie market, having started her career working in the lingerie concessions of UK department stores such as Harrods and Selfridges as Manager, Merchandiser and Buyer for Hanro. Working as a distributor and sales agency for lingerie, swimwear and hosiery brands, Lindsey successfully developed these brands' sales in the UK market. To complement her background in design and understanding of the lingerie market, Lindsey is one of a handful of people worldwide who have a Masters Research Degree with Distinction, MA in Contour Design, specialising in Compression of the Breast Tissue.

Vanessa Brown Bsc (Hons) International Business Management runs the Optimal Retail Course and is Mya Blue's Commercial Director. Vanessa has over 15 years sales and commercial experience, having worked at Pepsi Co. and Nestle UK, ultimately heading up their ambient food business. She currently advises small businesses on their sales and marketing strategies.

Cristie Herbert BA (Hons) Contour Fashion, of CiCi Creative PR Consultancy, runs the PR and Marketing section of the Lingerie Retail Course. Cristie's work history includes lingerie PR for lingerie and swimwear brands, from teen to corsetry, and event planning.

Every month ladies travel from all over the UK, Europe and as far as South Africa, America and Australia to benefit from Lindsey's teaching. Her unique approach combines years of commercial experience and knowledge, with the technical research and understanding from her Masters Degree.

Attendees complete the course being able to accurately assess bra size and fit bras by eye without the use of a tape measure.

1985    Lindsey graduated with a BA Hons 2.1 Degree, Textiles for Fashion

1987    Bra Fitting Role with Hanro working within their London concessions  in Harrods, Fenwick and Selfridges.

1998   Lindsey graduated with a 1st class Masters Degree in Design Manufacture specialising in Contour Fashion and Compression of the Breast Tissue.

1999    Consultancy Advice for Kevlar Female Police Vests

2000  Set up Mya Blue UK Ltd working as a distributor and sales agency, successfully developing lingerie, swimwear and hosiery brands in the UK

2001   Won Leicestershire Entrepreneur of the Year award

2002   Lingerie Consultancy work for Tennis Ace Annabel Croft

2004   Became a family business with Vanessa Brown joining as Commercial Director

2006   Launch of the Bra Fitting Course  following  requests from retailers for reliable and commercial Bra Fitting Advice.

2007   Presented Bra Fitting talks at the Harrogate New Buyers Seminar    Harrogate Lingeire & Swimwear Show Feb 07

2008    First attendees from outside Europe attend the Bra Fitting Course  from Florida, New York and Cape Town.

2009   Presented 'How the Understanding of the Breast Anatomy can help sell more Bras' at the Harrogate Lingerie and Swimwear Show Aug 09

2010   Breast Nurses, Doctors and Plastic Surgeons attended the Bra Fitting Course to learn how to correctly assess bra sizes and advise patients about correctly fitting bras.

2011    Lindsey is a guest on Polish television demonstrating how to correctly fit bras and presents the benefits of wearing a good fitting bra.
